Rio Bravo Mexican Restaurant in Savannah

Unimpressed with service, food, prices, decor. Margarita tasted like a kid's sweet drink. Brought wrong beer. Maybe chicken entrees are better than the beef ones were. Had to request refills for anything. Final bill was significantly higher than expected so watch billing.

Not a "WOW" experience. Good chips & salsa. Tasty burrito. Ok margarita. We will return.

Food was very good but the service, especially the kitchen, was very slow. Nice place. Would go back.

Enjoyed a very delicious beef fajita meal on a Tuesday afternoon. It was their special and it was fantastic. Just the right amount of vegetables to meat ratio. Plenty enough to have leftovers. The flan was fantastic as well.

I visited at 1130 on a Sunday for about 45 minutes. It was empty except for my family of 4. The waiter was very polite and timely in our ordering and serving g food. There is a buffet there that has fajitas, taco salad, enchiladas, and buffalo wings. Food was great. I will go there again!

They have RATS in the restaurant walking around the dining area!!!!!

The food is wonderful and the service is great. Plenty of seating in a large restaurant. Great margaritas!

My favorite guacamole! Service is fast and pleasant, food is solid every time, great frozen margaritas (try the peach!), prices are reasonable. One of our go-to's on Wilmington Island.

The buffet, although small, has some great offerings and is also a great value. Everyone there is very friendly. We eat there very often and have never been disappointed.

Delicious Chili relleno even though the pepper was tiny. Buffet was tempting, looked well stocked. I will visit again.

Terrible experience on Cinco de Mayo. The place had tons of open tables are food still took forever and the drinks all look brown and tasted off. Save yourself the trouble and go to Cancun instead

This place is a little hidden gem. Service is very good and the food came out quick. Everything was so delicious. Horchata is my favorite drink and theirs is amazing.

We are here two days in a row because the food was so good! The meat tasted very fresh and the chimichanga rio bravo was excellent!! The salsa was very fresh and yummy. I would definitely recommend!

Sooooooo delicious! My favorite dish is the Enchiladas Ranchero substitute chicken for beef! They even have HUGE margarita pitchers that are nearly 2.5 feet tall! You have to check them out, plus take out comes in a dish you can put in the oven to warm up when you get home if you need to feed the whole family! The huge dish below was like $10!

Hidden gem on Wilmington Island. Great food and service. Authentic Mexican dishes on the menu didn't disappoint and cant wait to try more. Very large dining area with plenty of booths and tables. Full bar with great bar seating/dining area. Service and staff were great and provided great recommendations. Keep it up. Will definitely be coming back here often. Highly recommend.

Every time I go, we always wait quite a while for anyone to even come to the table. If you can’t get service, you can’t eat. So we always spend extra time waiting for someone to come to the table. The food is usually tasty. The staff is alright. I enjoy the fact that it’s sort of a dimly lit dining room, plus the booths are pretty comfy. Good place to hide. Except if you hide too well, you will never get any service!

This place is amazing! The food is scrumptious and the delicious margaritas were ginormous!! The entire family are some of the nicest people. We had such a fun time here with Jose he was personable, energetic and just overall NICE! we cannot wait to come back. This is a gem on the island!

The staff was great here but I wasn't impressed with the food. It was a little too greasy for me. I would try it again, everyone has off nights. The salsa and guacamole were great so at least you could eat that.

Best Mexican food around

Inexpensive Mexican restaurant with full bar tucked away on Wilmington Island. A little local secret that their food is the best on the island when compared to its fellow Mexican restaurants.

We have not been there in awhile but it has gone down hill. The buffet was out of food and they don't start bringing out more until we were billed and ready to leave. What they did bring out was not hot. I think ALPO dog food would be better than the ground beef. Really doesn't deserve 1 star. We Will never eat there again.

Because it doesn't need to be there. We already have Cancun which is great. They should leave and let something else come in it place. We dont need 3 Mexican restaurants on 1 island

The buffet was cold and food was old. There was no service but showed up promptly with the check. Very disappointed.

This is my 3rd time trying this place. The first was when they opened. The food was cold so I did not go back for a while. The 2nd was not good but not bad. Today I though I would try again. I ordered a Taco salad. It had pieces of thick plastic in it. Our chips seemed like the bottom of the bag. To small for the cheese dip and salsa. Oh well we have other better Mexican places to eat on the island.

Service was horrible!!! Waitress was rude. Food was mediocre!

So good! The food is good and drinks are absurdly large. A "jumbo" margarita is $17 but could probably get a horse drunk. The interior is pretty cool too, it feels like you're actually in Mexico.

Finally found a great Mexican restaurant with good food and good service. So far everything I've ordered has been great. Glad to have a good Mexican restaurant I can eat at a again. Make sure to order the question with steak. super amazing.

Great food and drink, great service

The food is great! But Please don’t get your food to go. You get the smallest thing of Salsa and it’s a 1.99 to have another cup. Honesty it’s ridiculous. The amount of salsa that comes in the cup isn’t enough to eat 8 chips. The chips barely fit in the cup. 😔 Now I have a half a bag of chips and no salsa. Thank you Rio Bravo.
